Lewis Seeds

About Us

Lewis Seed Co. was founded in 1997 by Monte Lewis, a prominent grower with over 30 years of seed growing experience in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Lewis Seed’s original office and warehouse was located on the farm where most of the seed was being conditioned and stored.

Then in June of 2008, Lewis Seed completed construction of its new facility which can warehouse approximately 2.5 million pounds of seed.

THE FACILITY HAS FOUR PRIMARY OPERATING AREAS:
  1. The front building is sales and administration, which is separate from the warehouse.
  2. The 20’ door on the left of the warehouse is for receiving clean seed from growers.
  3. The center of the building serves as the blending and bagging area. It also serves as primary storage for pre-blended and bagged seed for seasonal shipments.
  4. The far right of the warehouse is the loading and staging areas. Up to 450,000 lbs. can be staged for immediate shipment.
